Welcome to Karl's Mac Blog!

This is where I post Mac advice, short cuts, hints, tips, software recommendations, answers to common questions and once in awhile my Macomplaints. I don't expect this blog to interest everyone, but it is mostly to serve as a resource for me to save important Mac info/links, but also for the my growing number of Mac Converts as they learn the Ways of the Mac.

For a lenghy and detailed Mac vs. PC discussion, you can visit the Kidology Mac/PC Discussion in the forums. (membership to Kidology.org required to post)

Hey cool Karl!

I have used a Mac since 1984! I could never use anything else. I used a Mirror Door G4 dual 867MHz.

I was wondering if anyone out there ever has trouble with the eject key. Either on the keyboard, or trying the eject button in iTunes. It acts stupid sometimes now, won't open to load a CD/DVD, or eject a loaded one that shows on the desktop.

It has the date you started the blog as Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006. I know Mac's are cool but how'd you do that?
BTW - what's your thoughts on Apple changing to using Intel?

2006? Why didn't you know that Macs can time travel??

Actually, the 2006 date is a 'trick' so that the 'intro post' stays at the top for now (rather than newest at the top) until the blog gets more content, while it is new, i want more people to see the explanation for the blog before i redate it back to 2005 :)

Intel? i think it is a GREAT idea! and about time. :)

Karl, In your spare time I would love to hear more about Essental Software, Extra Cool Software, Tips & Tricks, and the other topics you listed. I'm new to the world of Macs and need to pick your brain... Love what you have done so far!
