The wind here was so strong, you could barely walk outside of your car.
I know, because when I got out, I lost my hat and went after it.
Since I was only popping out to take a picture I had on no coat or gloves...
I had NO idea how cold the wind could make me feel!
By the time I was returning to the car with the stupid hat I was the coldest
I have ever been in my life, I cold barely walk due to the strength of
the wind!
Finally walking backwards helped as tears flowed down my face and froze!
Ahhhhh.... back in the car with the heat blasting. How did
they explore
this barren place before cars with heaters! They were nuts!

Amazing how they carved out roads through solid rock.
I was able to drive 70mph where others used to have to climb!

No picture can show how awesome this view was!

A shot while driving to show you the view you get everywhere you look!
(It's like Colorado on steroids!)

This picture was taken along the #1 accident highway stretch in all of Alaska.
Maybe it's because people take pictures while driving!
